So I’m nearly finished reading You Must be Joking, Mr. Feynman! and also nearly finished the audiobook of The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. Next up on the non-professional reading list is, as I’ve promised David Amerland, his book from last year, The Sniper Mind.
On the professional side, however, I have a ton of reading to do as well! Having committed myself to adding and improving my periodontal surgery skills, there’s a lot to know! I’ve been doing a number of surgical procedures for many years, but I’m expanding those procedures significantly, and some of them are quite involved. Some can even be risky (at least, relatively so compared to a bunch of fillings or crowns, but still nothing compared to heart surgery), so I have to brush up on how to deal with possible complications, too. 😀
It’s a good thing I’m sleeping better these days, because I sure need the rest!
