It really blows my mind that some people prefer their right to own any firearm to the lives of children. And I’m so glad to see people like this Lt. Colonel saying what should be so obvious, and most especially that he’s saying it on Fox News.
What the hell does any law abiding citizen need an AR-15 for? Not a single goddamned thing. It’s useless for self-defense in the home because of how powerful it is (bullets will easily punch through walls and kill people unintentionally), and if you can’t kill a hunting target with a regular rifle, what you need is more target practice, not a semi-automatic rifle.
Which is more important to you? Real people’s lives, or your damn guns? There is only ONE morally and ethically correct answer.
