I recently listened to the author of this book on the Podcast You Are Not So Smart (http://youarenotsosmart.com/) and enjoyed it so much that I had to get the book. It’s a fascinating look at the neurobiology and neuroscience behind the benefits of meditation, geared towards people who are interested in meditation but hesitant of, and not interested in, the spiritual aspects that are historically associated with it.
