Greenpeace Should Stop Blocking Golden Rice and GMO Technology to Save Lives
Well, argument from authority is generally not a good idea, so one should be cautious before assuming that one can trust even legitimate authorities on a subject. However, when you have 100 authorities coming together to form a consensus, then you’re reaching a point where the combined authority is something that must be considered.
And when you have 100 Nobel Laureates all coming together to affirm that GMO crop technology is safe, effective, and should be allowed to the fullest extent currently available in order to prevent the deaths of children around the world……well, you’d better damn well listen, and if you disagree, you’d better have some damn good evidence. And if you’re not an expert in the field, you’re probably not even qualified to disagree with them because you don’t know enough. (BTW – I include myself in that group).
Especially if you’re blocking technology that can save lives starting NOW if implemented.
Yes, I agree that Greenpeace is committing a crime against humanity and should be held accountable for the blood on its hands.
Chet Mitchell I’m looking at you.
