Great article! Scroll down to accommodations for problems within the classroom. Any of the accommodations can be added to a 504 or IEP plan. A plan should be a TEAM effort. Parents can be specific (but realistic) with what they request, but definitely speak up. You shouldn’t be a passive recipient of any plan without truly having your input heard. You can request a meeting at any time too. Always put your requests in writing though. Remember, the best plans include everyone working for the child # 504 or IEP plan
